The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the recruitment of 205 Selection Posts in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The vacancies are available for various posts, including Junior Assistant/Typist cum Operator, Junior Stenographer, Orderly/Chowkidar/Class-IV, Geologist Assistant Grade II, Mineral Guard/Mining Helper/Helper, Technical Assistant, Laboratory Attendant, Drill Operator, Drill Helper, Chowkidar, Store Khalasi, Fitter, Driver, and Instructor.
The eligible candidates can apply online through the SSC website from 24 March 2023 to 12 April 2023. The selection process will involve a Computer Based Examination (CBE) and Skill Tests (wherever applicable). The CBE will be held in June-July 2023.
The age limit for the various posts is different. The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 30 years for most of the posts. However, there is a relaxation in the age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
The educational qualification requirements for the various posts are also different. The minimum educational qualification is a 10th pass for some of the posts, while it is a 12th pass or a graduate degree for other posts.
The application fee for the various posts is different. The fee is Rs.100 for General/OBC candidates and Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
