The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has released a notification for the recruitment of 7404 Driver and Conductor posts. The vacancies are available for both male and female candidates.
The online application process will begin on August 7, 2023 and the last date to apply is September 6, 2023. Candidates can apply for the vacancies through the official website of the GSRTC, i.e. https://gsrtc.in/.

The eligibility criteria for the Driver posts are as follows:
* The candidate must have passed the 10th standard examination from a recognized board.
* The candidate must have a valid driving license for heavy vehicles.
* The candidate must be physically and mentally fit to drive a vehicle.
The eligibility criteria for the Conductor posts are as follows:
* The candidate must have passed the 10th standard examination from a recognized board.
* The candidate must be fluent in the Gujarati language.
* The candidate must be physically and mentally fit to work as a conductor.
The selection process for the vacancies will consist of a written examination and a skill test. The written examination will be objective in nature and the questions will be based on the syllabus given in the detailed notification. The skill test will be conducted to assess the candidate’s ability to drive a vehicle and to collect fares.
The salary for the Driver posts will be Rs. 18,500 per month and the salary for the Conductor posts will be Rs. 16,500 per month.

* Candidates must pay the application fee, which is Rs. 250 for general category candidates and Rs. 59 for reserved category candidates.
